In the event of a fire, it acts as a solid shield that protects the flammable materials behind it. The flames do not spread to the spaces separated by this special type of glass. Thanks to it, people and property will stay safe from the fire.

FIRE GLASS
POLFLAM
We offer this type of modern fire glass in fire resistance classes EI30 and EI60. It meets the fire resistance criteria according to PN-EN 1363-1 and meets the strictest requirements for fire protection in all EU countries. EI class fire glass prevents the passage of gases and flames and restricts the passage of thermal radiation. It does not break under its own weight, even if it is directly loaded during a fire.
Polflam fire glass is produced using modern author technology of the company of the same name. It consists of glass panes between which there is a colourless hydrogel. The thickness of the filling layer determines the safety class.
Its use is versatile. It is used both indoors and outdoors. It can be installed in any type of fire windows and doors. To achieve the desired aesthetic effect, energy saving or protection, it can be combined with special glass (thermal insulation, sun protection, sound insulation, safety, colour or decorative, mirror glass, etc.).
Advantages:
-
large dimensions (up to 2200 X 4200 mm)
- high selectivity and thermal insulation
- high sun protection and UV resistance (without the need to use PVB film)
- high acoustic insulation Rw up to 48 Db
- high mechanical strength (tempered glass)
- lower weight compared to laminated fire glass
- wide range of colours and shades of selective coatings from the RAL and NCS ranges
